TRON balance alerts: what transfer monitoring can do

tronhooks currently sends transfer notifications, not balance-threshold alerts. If you need to know when USDT or TRX arrives or leaves a TRON mainnet address, use an incoming/outgoing/both watch. If you need an exact current balance or “alert below 100 TRX”, that feature is not available.
Three different requirements

A transfer event is not a complete balance delta. Fees and other chain operations can affect balances. Summing observed events is also incomplete if monitoring started after the address was already in use or if relevant activity is outside the supported event types.
What an assistant should do
Clarify which of the three outcomes you need. For transfer alerts, follow the AI guide or Telegram setup. Do not invent /balance, a balance_after response or a min_balance watch argument.
For a balance requirement, record the asset, whether an observed or historical balance is needed, threshold/recovery rules and acceptable delay. Contact ops@tronhooks.com with that requirement; no launch date or delivery guarantee is implied.
Why an observed balance needs context
A balance fetched after processing a transfer can already include later transactions. It is not necessarily the exact balance immediately after the original transaction. A future snapshot must identify observation time and block/source; a query failure should not suppress the existing transfer notification.
This distinction keeps both people and coding assistants from building against a capability that does not exist.
